TAXI – local taxis are available throughout the capital. The standard fare is 800₮ per km. The language barrier is a challenge, since the majority of local drivers don’t speak English. Even the local taxi apps that have been created in recent times in the capital (UBCab and ABA Taxi Mongolia) are entirely in Mongolian Cyrillic. For that reason, it is recommended to approach a local hotel (preferably a high-end one) and request an English-speaking taxi driver from there
